Het demonteren van het achterwiel is wel wat werk, maar is goed te doen.
Er moet aan de rechterzijde een subframe losgehaald worden.
dus blijf van de linkerkant (aandrijving) af!!

Lift your Burgman 400 scooter onto its center stand. Let the engine and exhaust cool to the touch before continuing.

Unscrew the exhaust pipe flange nuts from the engine exhaust port, using a 6 mm Allen wrench. Unscrew the muffler mounting bolts and nuts, using a 12 mm box wrench, a 12 mm socket and a socket wrench. Pull the muffler and exhaust pipe away from the scooter.

Remove the muffler bracket from the right side of the scooter, using a 14 mm socket and a socket wrench.

Set the parking brake. Unscrew the lug nuts from the right side of the rear wheel, using a 17 mm socket and a socket wrench. Pull the rear wheel away from the rear swingarm, by hand.

Push the rear wheel onto the rear axle mounting studs. Screw the lug nuts into place and tighten the nuts to 36 foot-pounds. Release the parking brake.

Reinstall the muffler bracket. Tighten the bracket bolts to 16.5 foot-pounds. Loosely mount the muffler onto the muffler bracket and the engine exhaust port. Reposition the muffler until the exhaust pipe flange is aligned with the exhaust port, then tighten the flange bolts to 16.5 foot-pounds. Tighten the muffler mounting bolts to 16.5 foot-pounds.
